Jain Temples of Hastinapur

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to hastinapur. On arrival at Hastinapur check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for self-activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Hastinapur has a great importance in Jainism and consider as Kashi of Jain religion. It is to believe that this is a place where king Shreyans donated 'Ikshuras' to Rishabhdev (first Jain Tirthankar). These temples and stoops where founded by different Jain achayas (teachers) in different time like Shwetamber and Digamber Temples. The ancient Pandeshwar Temple (devoted to the Lord Shiva) also a place of worship and visit.

It is also said to be the birthplace of three Jain tirthankars, Shantinatha, Kunthnnath and Arahanatha. Right now there are huge temples of both the Shwetambar and the Digambar sects. Hastinapur is said to be the birthplace of the Tirthankaras Shantinath, Kunthunath and Aranatha; their footprints can be seen on a small hill nearby. Overnight stay at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi drop you at airport to connect flight for onward destination.
