On arrival in Delhi, meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in your hotel.
Breakfast At the hotel and proceed for city tour Delhi. Visiting Raj Ghat (the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi), Shanti Vana (the cremation sites of Jawaharlal Nehru) and Jama Masjid. Drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Afternoon visit Qutub Minar (built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199), Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple (a modern Hindu Temple). Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur check-in at hotel, Evening free for shopping around the local market. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. It is capital of Rajasthan, the desert state in India, which is famous for its majestic forts, opulent havelis, beautiful lakes and sand dunes. Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Though the city is in ruins, it is a place to visit if one comes to Agra. But in real terms Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some time. The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish. arrive Agra check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD).
After breakfast visit Agra fort. Built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, the red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar, Afternoon visit Itmad-ud-daulah. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir or the Chief Minister of Emperor Jahangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. Evening free for shopping around the local market.
Evening transfer to Railway station for Patna. Overnight stay at train.
Upon arrival at Patna meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Later proceed for city tour of Patna visiting Stupa of Buddha Temple, Goal Ghar and Old city of Patna. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bodhgaya, en-route visit, we will visit Nalanda, founded in the 5th century B.C. We will also visit an archaeological museum houses the Nalanda University seal, sculptures and other remains found on the site. Later take a 20 kms drive to Rajgir. Further, we will visit Griddhkuta "Hill of Vultures", where Buddha delivered some of his most famous sermons. Thereafter, we will visit Saptparni caves where first Buddha Council was held which is also the source of Rajgir's hot springs. Later continue drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival at Bodhgaya check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour of Bodhgaya visit Mahabodhi Temple which includes tall stone lotuses, figures of Buddha sitting in different postures on the walls, his footprints on the stones and a colossal golden Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum. The Bodhi Tree is situated in the premises of the temple, is the one under which Buddha attained illumination. Another option is to sit and meditate under the Bodhi Tree. Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi check-in at hotel. Later proceed to visit SARNATH (where Buddha delivered his first sermon). Evening view "Aarti" ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gorakhpur. En-route visit Kushinagar, one of the major Buddhist pilgrimage destinations where Lord Buddha attained Parinirvana or final Nirvana. Also, visit ancient stupas and modern temples, commemorating the Buddha's death and cremation. Visit the spectacular reclining Buddha Statue. Later continue drive to Gorakhpur. On arrival at Gorakhpur check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour of Gorakhpur. Later continue drive to Balrampur, en-route visit birth place of Lord Buddha - Lumbini. Also, we will visit Lumbini Park where the Ashok Pillar carries the inscription - where the Buddha was born. Then, we will visit Mayadevi temple devoted to the mother of Lord Buddha which houses a stone picture of giving birth to Lord Buddha. Later, we will visit China temple which is beautiful pagoda style temple with many prayer and meditation cells. Later continue drive to Balrampur. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Lucknow. En-route visit Sravasti where Lord Buddha passed the greater part of his monastic life and preached after the enlightenment. Also, we will visit the Ananda Bodhi tree where Lord Buddha meditated for a night then visit Jetavan where Lord Buddha performed some miracle. Later continue drive to Lucknow. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to visit the Residency complex- site of the famous siege of 1857, Dilkusha Gardens and La Martiniere. We’ll also visit the monuments of Avadh Nawabs including the Imambaras, Romi Darwaja and explore Lucknow's colourful bazaars. Later transfer to airport to connect train for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi internal transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
