Itinerary

On arrival at Delhi our representative meets you at the airport and assists you till your check in process at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, go for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat (the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi), Shanti Vana (the cremation sites of Jawaharlal Nehru) and Jama Masjid. Drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.

In the afternoon visit Qutub Minar (built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199), Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and Lakshminarayan Temple (a modern Hindu Temple). Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After having breakfast, drive to Pushkar. On arrival at Pushkar check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Pushkar is a town in Rajasthan which is very famous for Hindu religious centers. It houses various sacred temples. Pushkar is located on the shores of Pushkar Lake and has five main temples along with other small temples. It has almost 52 Ghats. Pushkar is approximately at an elevation of 1673 feet. Reaching Pushkar is easy as the town has good road connectivity. The Sanganer Airport of Jaipur is nearest to Pushkar. The closest railway station is at Ajmer. October to March is the best time to visit Pushkar as during this time of the year the weather remains comparatively cooler.

Early morning visit Jagatpita Brahma Mandir is a Hindu temple situated at Pushkar, close to the sacred Pushkar Lake to which its legend has an indelible link. The temple is one of very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator-god Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them. Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to visit Pushkar visiting Ghats and temples. Afternoon excursion of Ajmer. Visit Dargah Shareef of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.

Dargah Shareef of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is one of the major tourist attractions in Ajmer. Set at the foothills of the Taragarh hill, it houses quite many white marble buildings, namely, a mosque called the Akbari Masjid, a huge gate gifted by the Nizam of Hyderabad, and the Dargah or the tomb of the 13th-century Sufi Saint, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti.

Arhai-din-ka-Jhonpra, Arhai-din-ka-Jhonpra which literally means 'two-and-a-half-day shelter' is located on the suburbs of Ajmer. It is believed that an erstwhile Sanskrit college was converted to this mosque by the invader Mohammed Ghori in 1198 AD within two-and-a-half days. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast go for an excursion to Amer Fort. Ascend the fort on Elephants back. In the afternoon take tour of the city visiting the City palace, the Jantar Mantar (observatory), the Palace of Winds and the Birla temple. In the evening check into a hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1728 A.D. It is also called Pink City because most houses in this city are pink colored. The city is surrounded by thick walls 20 feet high and 9 feet wide having eight gates. Ajmeri gate and the Sanganeri gate in the south, Chand Pole gate in the west and the Ghat Darwaja in the east are some of the main gates of Jaipur. The city is surrounded by hills on all sides except the southwest. Forts and temples can be seen on the hills.

After breakfast drive to Agra en-route stoppage at Fatehpur Sikri. On arriving Agra check into a Hotel. Our representative will assist you till your check in process at the hotel. In the evening visit Taj Mahal and enjoy the sunset. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Agra is famous for being the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the Moslems, the forts and the palaces is a vivid reminder of the opulence of Mughal Empire of which Agra was the capital between the 16th and early 17th centuries.

In the morning visit the Red Fort, the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb and the Sikandra. Later drive to Delhi, en-route visit Mathura and vrindavan (visits temples) and birth place of Lord Krishna. Later continue drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Rishikesh, en-route visit Haridwar. Visit Mansa Devi Temple & Ganga aarti at Haridwar. Later continue drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Haridwar: Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth forms Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. In the traditional of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their departed elder. It is doorway to the sources of the Ganga and the Yamuna, 3000 to 4500 meters up into the snowy ranges of the central Himalayas. The 'Aarti' worship of the Ganga after sunset and the floating 'dia' (lamp) is a moving ritual.

Breakfast at the hotel and visit Ashrams and Ghats. Rest of the day free for self activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Rishikesh, located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation. There are many temples-some ancient, some new along the river Ganges. Rishikesh is important not only as pilgrimage centre closely associated with the Ramayana, but also as home for many important centers of Hindu religious thought and spirituality, and as a very great Yoga Centre. There are a great many ashrams and Yoga institutes here.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
