Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day city tour of Shey, Thiksey & Hemis. Where you can see the 36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thiksey: The twelve storied monastery of Thiksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Finally visit; Hemis : Farthest away from Leh, this is the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh belonging to the Red Sect - it is here each summer that plays are held and Ladakhis from all parts of the country will visit Hemis. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Nubra Valley which passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road in The World) at 5,602 Mtrs. / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Check-in at camp at Numbra Valley.Oernight stay at camp.
Breakfast and visit Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Afternoon drive to Leh. On arrival at Leh check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.) Later drive back to Leh. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for half day city tour of Leh visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Afternoon free for self-activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
